Abstract
This study proposes a theoretical-methodological application for the analysis of technological utopianism. It draws on Teun van Dijk’s model of Critical Discourse Analysis and various historical approaches to the concept of utopia, with the hypothesis that utopia, as an ambiguous concept, is an element that may be utilized in abusive practices of discursive power.
Keywords: Critical Discourse Analysis, utopia, new technologies, methodologies
